The XLP Research Trust 2008 Triathlon

Following on from the success of the first XLP Research Trust Triathlon in April 2007 when we raised just over £36,500 for medical research, the beautiful market town of Romsey will again play host to what we hope will be the largest fund raising event yet held for the XLP Research Trust.

The XLP Research Trust 2008 Triathlon will allow teams of three to pitch themselves in competitive battle over a run, bike and swim challenge, all in the good cause of funding life saving medical research.

The 20 mile triathlon will comprise of:

3.5 mile run

16 mile bike ride

0.5 mile swim = 32 lengths of a swimming pool

And afterwards there will be a buffet reception and prize giving.
